Just got my e6700+p5b dlxe.

Ive read through alot of the p5b sticky but have a request if possible.

Im new to OC'ing and respect you guys immensly here at extreme, im quite nervous to oc on my own.

I just put on a fresh intall of winxp sp2 and am now rdy to start bumping things.
I tried setting the timings in my bios to what they suggested in the sticky and it wont post.

Is there anyone running this same cpu and mobo that could give me a few pointers?

Just updated the bios to 0804.

Ram is rated at 4-4-4-12..but the board defaults it to 5-5-5-15.

It doesnt seem to like it at any other setting..also the fsb:dram divider is default to 2:3 what should i go for?

im in the same cituation as you, although I oced it before, harddrived died and i finally RMAed it and now i can OC worth a lick...

well i got my OC to 3.7 stable but my idle temps are 50c
