Ok I was wondering how much an overvolted HT link will help an air cooled OC. I am getting some high temps, so I turned my overvolt back to to 1.25 from 1.3. Also, if anyone has this CPU, feel free to drop some tips! They will be greatly appreciated.

rasining the volt more than the stock ( 1.2v ) never helped in my O/Cing on any cpui ever used on my Ultra-D

just be sure to decrease the LDT multi so the total will be less than 1000

overvolting the HTT doesn't help much if at all. Since you can just underclock the HTT very easily and it doesn't do any harm to benchmarks

Ok, that's kinda what I was thinking as well. I have already set the LDT speed to 600 MHz in the BIOS, which makes it at around 700-800 when the CPU is overclocked. Thanks for the help!

So when I am running an HT link of 290, should I keep the HTV to stock (1.20)
Will keeping the HTV higher help when I OC the memory?

in my case raising it won't affect the O/C since u r doing 290x3 which is less than the stock 200x5

Oh, ok. Thanks for the help!
BTW Cairo, Egypt :P
How is that for OCing? Pretty hot there I bet......

P. S. I'm Orthos stable at 3 hours+ @ settings:
VCore:1.425
HT:291
HTV:1.40, which I guess I'm going to reduce to stock.
