I received this ram before christmas and I had also posted something here about the unprotected ram inside the wood box...
But now I'm really pissed of! It seems to be that there are crappy mosel chips on the pcb! On testsamples and early retail ramkits you've used D9GMH chips.. but it seems that you've changed the chips.
Can you tell me something about this? Is this true or not? I'm not willing to pop of the HS of the ram, because I'm going to send it back...
I know that they can run at the speed they are declared, but why the hell do you sell those expensive ram with this chips? Only because they're cheaper in production and you want to sell budget ram for a high price?
In my opinion that's not the way to make customers happy... it sucks to pay for something special and get something totally different. If it's really true, this was the first and last time I paid for G.Skill ram in my life...
