Couldn't you just use a program like Powerstrip or Radeonator to overclock your 9800?

Or are you looking for something else?

I copied this pic from a radeon 9800 pro review at hothardware.com. And i dont have that overclocker tab on my ati control panel. I think that is the tab which will help me change the frquencies. But i dont know how to get that tab?

Go to rage3d.com and download 3dtweak and you will have your overclocking tab just like that one.

Here's the link to it.rage3d (http://rage3d.com/r3dtweak/)

I actually use rivatuner since 3dtweak only goes to 511, and my 9800 clocks at 520 after vmodding of course.

Hey guys ive used rage3d just now and i actually get lower 3dmark score when i use rade3d compared to when i do no mods or any ocing to card. Iget 14000 with rage 3d and i get 19000 with no mods or any ocing, just installing the catalyst and bundled software.

PedroRocha recommended Rivatuner to me but they is so many freakin options and i couldnt find where i can up the clock frequencies and the memory.

If im not wrong the stock speeds of radeon 9800 pro are 400/360.
I get artifacting when using rage3d and no artifacting when using no mods at all.

But i really need an answer with the Rivatuner. thanks

You can easilly adjust the registry to make the Rage3d overclocker go up to any value ;)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Game Util\ATI Radeon Overclocker

and then adjust the last 2 numbers. I think they are 1.4 and 1.2 default.....I set them to 1.6 and you get about 440core and 440 mem.....4.5 allows you to OC to 1250 :D
hehehe

Rage3d rocks :)
