I finally got my classic account merged with my new BOINC account, do the points carry over? If they do, thats ~7,400 points for xmas for you guys :D

the last I knew, since we were doing primarily F@H, we had worked out a deal with overclockers.com to be a sub-team on thiers.
Basiclly, just join team 32 and mark in your name STEvil @ XS or something....
It is possible that has changed, but I dont know for sure.

Well the S@H used to. No idea with the bionc stuff....

Yes it we joined up what we had done previouslly as S@H and anyone who wanted to do S@H and not F@H. We figured since we were not going to be supporting it full time on the forums back then that we would lend our hands to OC as a sub-team.
Honestly, that was a very very very long time ago, so I cant say how things are anymore... let alone with the whole boinc thing.

Yep that's what we did. I believe we gave our points to oc.com.

STEvil, when you find your old account and transfer to BOINC. they show up in your personal account as classic seti points. but you still have your original join date.

http://www.boincstats.com/search/all_projects.php?teamid=52081ffe310cc5c3a563cb2687 f0ddea moving up fast

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=125805

we got a little team going. I was using the screensaver for the graphics and it was taking me 6 hrs for 1 work unit. now with no graphics, it takes less than 2 hrs.

only problem is: when you search for Xtremesystems, 2 XS teams show up.

XS and XS.org. XS is the (BOINC) team and XS.org is classic.

If youre doing something with the sub-team for OC, do something like STEvil @ XS ... thats what most of us did.

I'm on that team but my stats do not show up at stats.free-dc.org

Actually I've been on two seti teams, if anyone could find out the right one and get all of us on the right one contributing points to the vault it would be good. I quit seti as my points weren't affecting the vault. My clover is bored and wants to find et...

Hassan, is this the one:

http://stats.free-dc.org/new/teamstats.php?proj=sah&team=xtremesystems

It seems your points match your sig.

here are both the XS teams. http://www.boincstats.com/search/result.php search for Xtremesystems (teams)

I wish we could delete xtremesystems.org. I see people are crunching wu's in xtremesystems.org seti team. they should be in xtremesystems team.

Oh Dear Lord: We have a team and we are collecting points for the Vault. Look for XS_DiabloLegion That is the team to be.

We are not , repeat WE ARE NOT a sub team of anyone.

I think that was the problem I had or it took a few days before my sig matched my output.

the fdc stats dont update much because bok has to do it manually so only does it on request. Glad to see I'm now 8th on the team though instead of 1st :p: :toast:

yep that's the version that chopped about 2 1/2 hours off each WU. I still enjoy the graphics but WUs take way to long.

i know cpfarm works for climateprediction so I'm sure there is one for seti as it is one of the largest dc projects out there
