Hi,
Maybe someone can give me some pointers here. I have my P5B deluxe with e6700ES B1 under phase eventually.
Now the CPU isnt great but decent, it does 4+ Ghz orthos stable but my problem is my Team Xtreem 1000Mhz RAM.
Im trying to tweak timings but it seems its only stable at the rated timings of 5-5-5-15. I used memtest to test it. Even at 800Mhz anything lower like 4-4-4-12 produces alot of errors. voltage seems to have no effect on the errors. I have tried 2-2.3v with the same result.
I read this RAM is supposed to do 4-4-3-8 at 1067Mhz at 2.25v. I dont even get close to that. The RAM runs windows ok, even at 1150Mhz but memtest keeps failing and random failure under orthos blend test. When I do orthos small FFT's i can run that endlessly.
I have latest bios installed but it makes no difference.
Im new to this core2 hardware so excuse me if Im being a noob here.
