Just wondering if anyone was having any problems getting there Dominator Ram DDR 1142 to work stable with there EVGA Mobo? I understand that the Mobo is rated at DDR 800.....

maybe I didnt cover the process. anyone have any advice? what should i do to bring more stability?

I don't have experience with the Dominator stuff but I do have the evga board and can hit 1300mhz with ease on a pair of oem micron sticks. If you look around there are a couple of threads with people using that memory on 680i boards, im sure you could get some tips in there.

I'm stable at 5-5-5-5 TRC@5 1200mhz

Dominator 8500 series @ 2.375 VDIMM w/ Dominator Fan and a 120mm Front intake fan blowing over the Dominator Fans.

nice and cool.

However, I get some very strange stability issues when I up the VDIMM to 2.4vs. I can do 5-4-4-5 TRC@5 1225mhz @ 2.4v and its PI stable and Othos stable but I get random reboots/BSODs and slow-slow POSTING...but its related to my USB Hub. For some reason at that speed on the RAM and at the 2.4v-I have issues w/ USB.

strange. But having a C2d at 3.4ghz I'd like to at least run 5-5-5-5 TRC@5 and be able to do more than 1200mhz...I aimming for a 1:1 ratio. Not sure if its going to happen.

We have not had any problems in the lab. I should have one of those boards for my personal use soon also so I can play and get some numbers if needed.
