View Full Version : problems with am2-based arcade machine :(

Alright here's the problem:

The specs:

Sempron 2800+ am2
ECS C51GM-M
1x512mb Samsung pc2 4200
onboard video
not sure of power supply, I know these arcade machines have had problems with them, though.

This happens randomely. From my experience, it seems to be either not enough power for the arcade machine (these power supplies are known to suck), or the memory is bad, or the memory slots are bad. I've already tried different memory and it still does it, so it's either the motherboard or the psu IMO. I'm buying the same kind of mobo on newegg tomorrow and I'll be trying a different psu as well. Anyone have any input?

Try the PSU. I've seen this problem as the result of a crappy PSU.
