I am not sure if this is news to anyone here but it was interesting to see. On a TH7II 2.4 chip Alpha hsf.

I'm testing a 2.26 chip right now. So far I just ran 3Dmark at 2966 with Stock Intel Cooler useing a IT7 mobo.
Got them both today, pretty good timeing. I'll see if it will do 3Gigs here in a minute. 1.66v-core

Nope, she couldn't handle 3D at 3gigs with the stock cooler and 68c temps.
gone_fishin your thread has me interested to see what this chip can do on air so I'll put on a Swiftech 478 and see how much futher I can get with this 1.66 volts.

2966 with the stock cooler sounds mighty promising. How far did you get with the swiftech?

wow where you get the chip at opp?? i am gonna get an it7 and 2.26 to play with.
