I'd go with the P5B deluxe.
With going for a high clocking board wouldn't a lower end cpu make more sense?

6600?

yes is true P5B dlx is intrested mobo for overclok result but the P5B dlx is Intel P965 chpset based ..... intel 975X chipset is more performant for the nvidia 8800gtx vga.. and the core 2 6600 (2,66ghz at default) is more performant cpu but i want overclok hard ..over 3.60ghz....is easy more obtine this results with x6800 (2,93ghz at default)...

Don’t get X6800 it is not worth the price premium either get the E6700 or Qx6700 with the AWD9-Max or with a decent 680i mobo
Your ram is good and gpu is good

Cpu: Core 2 Quad QX6700
Cooler: Scythe Infinity or Tuniq Tower
Mobo: Asus Striker 680i or the Abit AW9D MAX
Ram: The Team Xtreme stuff is good
Videocard: Compare the prices and look for the cheapest 8800GTX. All cards are the same and differences are in bundle.
Hd: Seagate 7200.10 320GB
Case: Stacker is ok but if you want a quiet computer check the Antec P180
Psu: Silverstone SST-ST85ZF

The QX6700 would be a 'future' investement and the price difference isn't that much compared to X6800. So I'd recommend waiting for the QX6700.

The EVGA 680i should be good too but not as good as the Striker. Asus P5N32-E SLI (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=123227&highlight=Asus+P5N32-E+SLI) is also an option. It's like a Striker without all the goodies (led's, lcd display on IO panel etc.. ) and it's bit cheaper.

A good idea is to get E6700 instead of X6800 and with the money you save get the strikers extreme with the E6700 you can easily run @ 360X10 = 3.6 GHZ

for memory i have taken 2x1GB CELL SHOCK DDR2 1000Mhz pc8000 4-4-4-12 .... and i have taken ASUS P5N32-E SLI for mobo....

i think to have made one good choice.

which are your opinions?

kemo

the P5N32-E SLI is a good mobo(the striker not worth the price) and the CellShock got D9GKX and 8 layer PCB and will overclock a lot better
but what about the CPU

as processor I have chosen Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (tested for overclok until 3500mhz L632B pack date:11/23/06), with dissipator i have taken Zalman CNPS 9700 Led

we hope well!!

which are your opinions?

Pre Tested E6600 is a good idea any way the Zalman CNPS 9700 Led is not the best option to go with

in my confidence store the other valid options were: Thermalright si120 + 120mm fan, Thermalright xp120bs + 120mm fan, Zalman Fatal1Ty FS-C77, Thermalright XP90C + 80mm fan, Zalman CNPS 9500 At, CoolerMaster Eclipse ...all the others dissipator were inferior models and second me to discard...

From the options you got it is between the CoolerMaster Eclipse and the Zalman CNPS 9700 Led now I found myself leaning towards the Zalman coz there isn’t enough reviews for the Eclipse (besides it is too big and looks stupid )
