Welcome to the team. Yea, that connection is more than enough. The one thing you have to watch out for is upload backlog.

- leave persitient connection on
- turn off "uploads in 64MB chunks'
- get at least 50 crawlers going
- allow x open buckets > I say 7
- that's all I can think of now...

they told me about a week ago, after only a couple days of MJ12, that they had pulled my internet connection....well, they didn't, I was on and still doing 13Mil/day....then I got a second notice wondering why I hadn't try to reactive my internet (note: still online).....then last night I got a third notice that was pretty bitter (about me not reinstating my internet, LOL)....but still had internet. Then about 15 minutes later, went off, only giving me access to the quarantine network (Leper Island....is there a flag for that?), then the help desk closed. So I was fuct all night as I had to research and write my 6page term paper about some dumb picture....didn't get my internet back until like 10AM this morning after I proved I didn't have a virus.

So yeah, XSTM may have a lot of firepower but next time I use my portion of it, it'll cost me a week off the network and $25 :(

Just keep:

1. Send them to the MJ-12 site.
2. Get Alex to send them a 'doctor's note'
3. Offer a demo :fact:
4. Ask 'What is your idea of acceptable usage (anything is better than 0 :hehe: )
5. IF you play it right, you never know, might be able to get a rep to parlay this into 'sponsorship of various DC projects' by the school. (& yeah prolly pain to go w/ the gain) But I think BIG
