I am the owner of an Athlon XP 1800+ which I currently have at 1949mhz. I have had it at 2000mhz+ before but stability became an issue.

My Current Vcore is 1.725v (Shown as 1.68v in CPU-Z)
My Current Temp. is 55c for the CPU and 26c for the case.
My CPU's Model Number is an AXDA1800 DUT3C.
My CPU HSF is an Akasa AK-786.
The PSU I'm Using is a Casecom 500W Model (GOLD).

I'm unsure of overclocking it any more until I know whether or not I'll damage my PC.

And one Last thing: DRAM Shows up as 266mhz, however when I see the fsb it is 360mhz. Is this right?

Spec is in my Sig.

Your FSB sounds correct you currently have your RAM overclocked from 133MHz to 180MHz giving you an FSB of 360MHz, DRAM shows up as 266MHz as that is its native DDR clockspeed hence the native FSB of 133MHz.
Your temps sound a bit high with Athlon XP's I dont think you should really go over 50C for 24/7 running, but your Vcore is ok so try some better cooling. I recommend a thermalright SLK-800 or SLK-900 they are fantastic heatsinks!! But im not sure the SLK-900 will fit on your mobo, I used to have one and it wouldn't fit on my 8K7A+ but the SLK-800 fits perfectly.

Thanks for the reply sparky1000 :toast:

I've heard that Athlon XP Thoroughbred B's run hot when overclocked + I don't have it on 24/7, only about 6 hours a day

I used to run my XP2200 at 2.1GHz with about the same Vcore and with the SLK-800 never had it over 45C under F@H, they do run hot but I still would not like to run at 55C. The akasa 786 says it will do a 3400+ but never believe what akasa say i used to have the 785CU and it was poop changing to the SLK-800 dropped my temps over 10C! If you can find one on ebay they are well worth the money! I think mine was about £10-15 not including fan :)
