a few day's ago my vulcano started to produce really bad cooling result's so i lapped it and now i have normal temps again, my question... is it posible that now after i lapped it, it doesn't tuch the cpu core like it should (the whole core) and it's just cooling a part of the core?
it's better than before but is it good?
my temps are 50Cmax under load... before they were 60-70C depended on the rpm of the fan

50c is pretty high, but i guess it depends on what speed you are running your CPU.

lapping, if done correctly should leave a very smooth base.

the thermal paste connect bas eof cooler to core, arctic silver 3 seems to be the best

Shin-Etsu is pretty good stuff. i haven't seen any benchmarks with the new ArcticSilver Ceremiqe(or however it's spelled) but it's supposed to be good too.

P_rovided you've lapped it say with 400 through 800 grit sandpaper, your contact should be even better than it was previously. Given you haven't overlapped it...anything above 800 is simply overkill IMO.

Tweaked!

WeirdAl and OPTrime, Welcome to Xtreme:D

As long as you lapped it on a completely flat surface, you should be getting the best contact possible.

shin-etsu is quite hard to get. coolermaster compound premium w/ shin etsu is less difficult to find, I've got it myself

expect some more news soon

as long as you lapped it correctly, you're fine.
