I get high with a little help from my friends!!!!!!!
Thanks to this forum and a couple others I finally broke 2 Gig!

Yesterday I went to Radio Shack and got the Vcore mod parts.
I soldered in the bread board this morning, no probs!
The FedEx man delivered my AX7 with 84CFM Tornado 45 minutes ago. WamBam thank you Mam!!!!!!!!

I never could get this 2100 to boot into Windows above 147 FSB.
So first fire up with new HSF and Vcore Mod I set Vcore at 1.95
and FSB at 150. Yessssssssss! MBM showed my CPU temp at 30C,
a 10C drop from that Volc 6Cu+ and I didn't even lap the AX-7 yet!

Rebooted with FSB at 155 and more success.

I have mixed emotions, yeah lots of joy but I gotta leave for a 5 day fishing trip in about an hour but I wanna play!

Just when this addiction was getting very productive.

Can you here me singing? Oops that's a Tornado!

Nice job! Only problem I think there might be is, how loud is it? :D According to [H]ardOCP, the 84CFM tornado's actual dB is in the low 70's. Thats LOUD.

Yeah but at least you know the HSF is working :D Congrats deerhunter, great job on air.....now go catch some fish

good job, i wish i could hit 2 gigs. i have to many things that are holding me back. my psu my cooling , memory. that is close to 200 right there.

I just got back, the fishing was great but I fell asleep, every night thinking about FSB, multipliers, & Gigahertz!

The Tornado isn't that bad. I worked in a lab near the flight line when I was in the Marines so my high frequency hearing isn't all that great. I did hook up a 3 speed fan controller switch. The only time I'll run it loud is for my extreme adventures. Right now the controller is set at low and very, very quiet.
My CPU, is at 1.9 Ghz right now and the temp is only 34C.
This AX-7 would probably keep me cool without a fan!
