CCBBE 0615EPMW if yer wonderin. Currently priming at 2.9 even.

However, I notice a few oddities. Firstly, the difference in core temps at idle. Core 0 is 5-8c hotter than Core 1 but under load they hover in the same range. About 40c~. Obviously something isn't right with idle (Btw, Using Core Temp.)

Second is the fact that the system won't boot with any sort of custom HT Link multi. Only on Auto. Currently its running at 871 so its at 3x. I tried to manually dial this in and no such luck. Wouldn't boot. =/

Also, if I dare go any few mhz higher, the system spazzes and dies right there. Perhaps the reason why core 0 is so much higher? Don't matter how many volts I run through it.

Anyway, im tired and I know im missing a few things, but meh. Ask if you have any questions.

Lemme know what ya think.

Also.. Whats this Machine Check Error crap? Keeps given a 106 which I hear is quite benign. Never did it before with my 145 and thats the only thing thats changed.

When I use the same program to check temps on my 165 at idle I see same temp variance, seems to be pretty normal

it normal for the core temps to be different, even at idle. And i think that core 0 is the default core, it may be doing more work at idle in windows then core 1.

at idle it's because core 0 is working and core 1 isn't doing anything, at load you won't see any difference because both cores should be working about evenly, ex, orthos.

Nice oc. What voltage? I have my 4800+ at 2.83ghz right now and that is pretty fast. I wish mine could do 2.9.

For the sake of keeping it happy, I got it runnin at 1.425 and that was prime stable for about 6 hrs before I had to turn it off. Later tonite im gonna drop it some to see how it likes at 1.4.

But no ideas on the oddity of the HT link? Nothign has changed since the 145. =/
