Disableing LEDs on the Copperhead?

I'm thinking of picking up a Razer Copperhead to replace my aging MX510, but I can't have another "gamer" product blinged-out with pointless LEDs on my desk. Is it possible to disable the LEDs in software, or at worst by ripping them physically out of the mouse?
