I was wondering when it is going to be released and at what price point? Also is it compatible with any type of ram? Taken from this (http://xbitlabs.com/news/memory/display/20061116233004.html) article.

Wow, it seems that it might be priced at the $20 mark which is what I was hoping for:).

lawrywild

probably less since UK is a ripoff and it's $20 equivalent here

but it was £17 at ocuk..

Yeah, I hope it reaches the US soon. Hint Hint;). I wish the OCZ rep here could fill us in since it seems to have been launched already, at least in the UK.

Says out of stock now, and my order is "awaiting despatch"

Hopefully there wasn't a screw up with the stock system :|

i bought one (arrived today from microdirect), but can't use it at the moment :(
i have a 7900gt with a couple of small (zalman) heatsinks on the rear of the card which get in the way when fitting the memory cooler

Hmm that's a nice looking accessory. Matches the Lian Li cases...

Edit: They are in the US...

Looks like on Atacom it's on back order until tomorrow..

I decided to do a preorder. The Corsair cooler sits way too high for me to use. I'm switching to watercooling and low CFM fans for a little peace and quiet. This should be great for giving me peace of mind when pumping 2.2v to my DDR2

Seen,

can't you replace one of the thumbscrews with a normal screw. That's what I was planning on doing if mine hit my 7900GTO

PS: Mine has been despatched for delivery tomorrow :)

can you just power it up and see if its noisy or not? :p

60mm quiet fans won't cost much anyway, I bought this more for the actual housing than the fans themselves

i wouldn't say it was noisy, but i can definitely hear it

it comes with two normal screws as well as the thumbscrews, but it's the actual housing that's hitting the little heatsinks i have stuck on the back of the gfx card (and it's *very* close to the gfx card itself)...
if only it were about 5mm taller

Got it on my P5W DH no problem. Put some acoustic foam in the mounting grooves that go around the RAM clips to help it snug a bit better. Also used the flat mounting screw for the bottom mount by my VGA. Needs to be on a controller though because the fans are a little louder than I care for. No luck finding quieter 60mm x 10mm LED fans.

GREAT PRODUCT either way. Wish it was quieter though.

Can anyone measure the temp delta between the active mem cooler and without?
