Pro Editing, Help me out.

The new box I am putting together will have a focus on music editing and development. With that being said, what sound card do you recomend as well as what equipment. I have ideas, but would like some opinions.

I currently work with a number of software suits such as sonar, reason, sampletank, and acid pro.

I also have a Midi Controller, Synth controller (88 Key) and a strap on Synth Controller for shows.

Any help woudl be great, Thanks.

I use an EMU 1212m.. but i produce totally in software so the amount of i/o wasnt the issue for me. Just the quality of the DAC and that it had low latency.
