2.4-2.5ghz very very bad stepping....

I think I saw 2.3 ghz once. That's very, very rare though. Most of them do 2.7ghz+

i have one of the bad stepping ones. 2.43GHz stock vcore. more than that i have to boost vcore to get higher clock. max is around 2.65 for mine :( but you should atleast get 2.40GHz

Bad joke on my part.
What I was trying to say was...
A bud o mine got an Opty 165 about a year ago, that would top out at 2.4G.
Mine, that I just got a couple o weeks ago, does 2.9G EASY.
The steppings these days are great. As they usually are at the end of the line.

Unfortunately it wasn't stable :( Upping the voltage helped it get from a few seconds to a minute but that was it. Temperature is against me now, I'm getting too warm at that speed. So now I'm running orthos 315x9 = 2.84GHz with 1.36V which I'd easily be happy with for now, my old single core 3700+ was running at about that speed with more voltage :)
