I think it is in the add/remove programs, and also disable it in the BIOS as well.

Perhaps I didn`t put question the right way.
i have DFI NF4 mobo and dfi off.site says not to install the driver if you tend for OCing. Will it be OK if I just disable CnQ ?

For Windows the driver only comes into play if you have power managment scheme set to portable/mobile anyway. If you have home desktop or always on, etc CnQ isn't goingto effect the OC.

or as said above. in the BIOS.

we have a winner, thanks for beating me to it :toast:

do you have an opteron? last i checked, cool and quiet doesn't work with the opteron on a dfi

To enable it, you have to have a C&Q compatible cpu, you have to enable it in the bios, install the AMD C&Q drivers and set the energy profile to mobile/energy saving.
To disable it, you just have to disable/uninstall one of the things mentioned above.

Alright guys. This is what I`ve found.

Disabling CnQ in BIOS and that power managment thingy certainly disables CnQ but...
When everything @ stock I get ~8,5k points in 3DMark `05. Minor 300 MHz OC on CPU and increasing RAM timings to run 1:1 gave me...~7,5k points (recheked that couple of times) I found two registry keys for AMD and deleted those. Now I have fine 500 points boost in 3DMark with the same minor OC on CPU/RAM.
So DFI doesn`t warn you not to instal CnQ if you tend to OC for nothing. :D

Do you remember the two registry keys you deleted? Because I have an ultra d and have found that the more I oc, the lower my 3dmark score gets.

No. I used search in 3rd party registry cleaner
