This MBP is slightly different than yours ;)

Anyway, I like the new internal layout....not that the previous one was at all difficult to find your way around for fun or repair.

Maybe I'll open up mine when I get it....considering I open and repair ~15 Apple laptops a week and never so much as had a scratch, I'm surprisingly hesitant to open mine. :shrug:s

EDIT: and I've always gotten a kick outta the people that refer to Windows on a Mac as "Boot Camp".....

I thought the program itself was called Boot Camp?

Anyway, never pulled apart my Powerbook - yet. :D

Only the installer and the bootloader are called Boot Camp....Windows is Windows.

What kind of Powerbook do you have?

Looks 100% identical to the Yonah model bro.

Edit: I just noticed this is the 15" model they cracked open... What they've done is modeled the interior the same as the 17" MBP it would seem, that's why it doesn't look different to me.

Oh, it's still very, very similar to the old 15"

Nevertheless, it's still the first look at the new insides....I wonder if the 17" has changed at all.

I want one :(
You reckon if I could buy one of the new super drives then i could swap it for the old one?

Well, if it were socketed, it would be a good .25" thicker....no need for that.
