Now that winter's almost arriving, anyone goin outside to overclock? Cold weather will be awesome for all overclockers =). My window's gonna be open the whole time during winter, rain or shine (mostly rain since oregon gets a ton of it). It's gonna be fun.

lol, ive always wondered about somehow hooking up a hose that goes from outside and then right into my computer case. that would be really neat specially for some of the cold winter temps here in connecticut =D

Yes, i love winter, because i can leave my comp on 24/7, and my room doesnt heat up. Hell, if anything, it gets colder !

do you realize where you are at?

and besides that, how would an air duct to go outside get rain on the computer?

your house has air ducts to outside, does the inside of your house get rained it?:slapass:

I already have my rig setup in my window. I take it down when not in use and when it rains or during the day since its still mid 60s. But I got 2 small blankets and a towel to insulate it. It worked last night cuz I left the house for 4 hours and cameback and it was still warm in my room. Sucks having to take it down and back up but hey I like the 31C idles and sometimes 28C idle.

whats your ambient?

my normal ambient is about 23C, if i open the balcony door in my bedroom, it drops to 10c in minutes lately. i like to keep it around 18c though. feels best for me and my rig.

I'm thinking about adding extra long hoses to my rad and putting it out the window, Just need to remember to remove it at night so the water don't freeze.

last winter I was on air and missed out on the coldness..I'm thinking of running the rad outside the window just to see how low I can go.. :D
