I have to leave the house now so I won't be able to stop the B/W blackout in the neighborhood even if I wanted to till I get back. I wonder how many calls they will make to my home? Oh well, it's time to destroy our competition...I will check back in a few hours. I set 2 rigs on Max DL setting. No one will get to google today...

But @ least I got rid of the Danm .infos and 20 sec timeouts on EACH.

Didn't like my buckets so sent them back and got new ones (migrate node, set cached buckets back to 30, then restart).

MM & Mc Intosh: are you running anything else on the MJ-12 boxen, or are they dedicated?
If dedicated, @ least I won't feel so bad since I am running other DC stuff on them :D. Got enough workers & buckets to do the job.

Oh and DAK is farther north than I am from Chicago :D

I'm dedicated, will stay that untill we get Norway :woot:

MJ12 doesn't take up much CPU but the amount of buckets i'm doing a day are very high and they all have to be compressed, and that's taking up a fair amount of CPU. So i made the choice, after Norway is defeated i'll switch on TSC again, possibly with MJ12 next to it with everything opn 'below normal' priority, otherwise it will take to much CPU.

WCG also on the 2 boxes with MJ12..Xeon powa baby!:D
You don't want to know the amount of ram that I'm seeing being used!:D
The DX3600 isn't even breathing heavy but the old DX2400 is straining!

MJ-12 doesn't gobble so much as the Virus monitor (1 day was up to 990 megs  ) Goes down after a short 'recess' on MJ 12, then slowly builds over time....

If I told you that after 3 routers I'm now using a D Link DI-604..old and I never liked D Link but it's working..
I have to get MJ12 up on the 3rd machine..there's more BW here to use but it keeps giving me an error when I fire it up.

Well i figure if one node can do 3.2 mil a day and not using even half of my download, 2 nodes should do 6.4 mil a day. Since that is not the case I have to assume my router is the botlleneck...

Decided to take one node offline again. The difference in output is so little i find it not worth the electricity and bandwith. The PC this node was running on will be switched to a medical DC project.

Again, my output should remain around 3.2 mil a day, so no huge drop. Will keep on it till Norway is defeated :toast:

If i understood Alexc correctly it's windows that can't hack it. More than around 3.5 mil. a day for one machine would not be possible.

But I will look into VM, never worked with it, have to do some reading ;)

its not too hot in a VM... upped my URLs by maybe a hundred K or so back in the day, but you can get that much just from daily fluctuations.
