(I've been emailing them, and calling vendors. At least one person (not from tuniq/sunbeam) told me that it was being redesigned after an issue was found.

Basically it's going to be in stores "any day now" for the past month or two.

That said, take any of the top performers, slap a 110 CFM fan on it, problem solved.

Not really no. The Tuniq is one of the best with its stock fan. With different fans and speeds the Tuniq didn't perform as well.

Tuniq is a great heatsink no doubt one of the best, but other awesome heatsinks that perform on par (or almost) are the Thermalright Ultra 120, Noctua NHU-12, and the Scythe Infinity.

Ultra-120 is what I want and guess what, I waited so damn long it joined Tuniq Tower status, backordered. First I wanted the Tower, then the Ultra, now I don't know what the heck to get.

get either one, the diff really isn't all that big and tests of which is better are far from conclusive... if you get the ultra-120, be sure to lap it tho since the base isn't all that smoothe (on my model at least) and ofcourse lap that concave ihs that all newer intel cpus have for optimum heattransfer.. some people report op to 7C diff between lapped and unlapped c2d's

Just beacuse overclockers use them doesn't make it the best heat sink. Overclockers also use heatsinks such as the Scythe Infinity and Thermalright Ultra 120.

Depends on the airflow. Both are really good, but in your case Si-128 would be very good with the duct as the hot air is coming out.

I really don't like my si-128. Ditch the duct thing and put good fans on your sonata so that there is no hot air in the case.
