Yep, it was really time to upgrade the old briefcase... The P3 was too old to keep up with WCG work units, so I decided it was time for a new one :D
New specs:
P4 Northwood 1.8Ghz, @ 2.25Ghz, 1.5v
Asus P4B
768MB Ram (crappy PC133 :stick:)
80Gig HD
4 3Com NICs/1 Wireless NIC
Anyways, it is made for silence, everything is passive. I even took off the fan from the boxed heatsink it came with... Temps are 50 idle/70 load. Room temp = 19C.
It has already been spitting out some WUs, and I now have a decent rig as a server/router. Unhearable unless you put your ear next to it. The fastest fan runs @ 900 rpm :)
