Surprised we don't have one of these threads for MJ-12. Basically tell us your speed, isp, number of MJ-12 clients running and anything else useful. This way we can see who is fair competition rather than struggling to keep up with the FIOS runners. :p:

P.S. MJ-12 users only, run it for a month and you'll see why.

I suppose I should start; 2.2mb, AOL, ADSL, running 4 clients 24/7 occasionally 5 :D.

Let's hear your's! :toast:

I guess your fifth smiling client is a helping client, known to play dirty games. :D

 I thought you were going to have some amazing 8mb+ connection Frisch, how can you get so much out of one client?.

Yes a fifth client is for special occasion use only ;) It is rarely used though only when someone is attacking for pie! :toast:

It's Turtle tweaking.

They do wonders those Turtles.

My ealier enemy from another project , forced me in to the tweaking world.
He learned about the frightening skills of the Turtles. :D

If he reads this, he will deny and call names out loud, don't listen, he is in denial.

1 Client, 4 down/1 up. If I am able to run 2 clients 24/7, I can get up to 3-4 million points/day. Poor me, because I'm not :(.

Optimum online w/ optimum voice. Whenever we get a phone call, it slows down. ~5mb down/1mb up.

AOL/Time Warner Roadrunner (cable), 7mbit down, 384kbit up. used to do big and pretty numbers of 2-3M/day with one client, but then the client got all buggy and useless.

Yea, I've seen peak downloads @ 2MB/sec. But its crippled with a bad router. And not being able to have the time/brain power to make a smoothwall isnt helping one bit. My sports season ends mid november, so hopefully by then I'll be able to get a smoothwall/ipcop up and running. Once that happens, I'll try to do ~5mil day or so (as long as my rig can handle it).

Got a 2.0 mb/s line down and 1024 kb/s up

Effectivly i get max. 1.6 mb/s down.

One client running, but is using barely half of my download...

With aprox. 3 mil. a day i'm not complaining, but it's still strange it doesn't grab full speed...

Nope, 2MB is what you have, I have 4mb. Notice the capitals ;)

But that explains a lot :toast:

It says "A full T1" = 1.544Mb/s both ways. Not super fast but reliable.

if you need help, just shoot me a message :) I've been running a smoothwall for around 100 days now and i LOVE it :) made a huge difference for MJ12, back when it worked.

@ T1: the only good side to a T1 is the reliablity and dedicated factor. Since its a dedicated line, you will *always* have your 1.544 mbit bidirectional. also, the downstream/upstream ratio is golden at 1:1. No speed demon but reliable reliable reliable. Also, speakeasy is definitely *the* best ISP out there, further improving reliability :)

personally, I'm a fan of anything starting with "OC", but a T1 is alright too :)
