I've had these parts since July, the system hasn't posted until this afternoon. Long story short, I've had to RMA at my own expense, the MB, CPU, and ram in an attempt to get this pc working. I had been rather lazy about doing it since my pc worked fine for what it was used for. Anyway Abit finally released a compatibility report on supported ram and got a stick which made the pc magically boot instantly, it just hated the 1 gig stick of Patriot I had bought before. Oh well - all is good now. :)

AMD Athlon64 3800+
Abit KN9 SLI
OCZ Powerstream 520watt
EVGA Geforce 7900gt
2x 250gb SATA2 Western Digital Drives - RAID 0

I have some pics, but they're not great since it was pretty dark in my room.

Side view - case isn't screwed shut at this point so that's why you see the metal on the side - still also needs some cable management

The gauges on the front are a VU meter, Temperature (probe), and fan speed monitoring for the built in fan controller.
Overall build cost was around $900

Now to get it running WCG :slapass: :D

Looking good! I have a 3800+ Venice crunching, too. Fast chips!

w00t! Another cruncher!

But, man, what an odyssey to get it going! Glad to hear it is over and ready to roar. :)

The case looks nice, but from the inside its worse than my cheap 20$ case with psu.
I had to use my dremel quite a bit to make everything like I wanted to hehe
Good thing it wasnt for me anyway. I hurt myself badly on a sharp edge and couldnt use my finger for 3 days.
If I would have bought the case for me, I would have sledgehammerd it :P
But when I was done, it was nice looking, which was the only thing that counts to the person I sold it to hehe.

Are you using the stock AMD cooler for a reason? I havent used one for ages, so I have no idea how they perform.

yeah it wasn't a great layout internally, but i didn't have the cash for a Lian case or anything like that, but it does what i need it to.
and the stock amd heatsink is doing quite well, this chip runs extremely cool, right now running WCG my cpu is at 93-95f :)

i will replace the 7900gt fan before i do the cpu fan, damn it's noisy
