Nautilaus 500 Problems

I dont think my nautilaus 500 is performing the way it should.. I'm running an E6600 in a D975XBX. At Stock Voltages I'm pulling 40idle/52load in a 24 degree room. At 1.400v (cpu) I'm pulling 48/60. I am worried that I have two much thermal paste, and the bracet that the unit came with leaves about 1/4" of wiggle room side-to-side on the Cpu.

Thoughts / comments?

that is a bit high but default vcore shouldn't be 1.4000V

Maybe too much thermal paste or not seating right.
