Hey all, kind of weird posting here for the first time in 1500+ posts.
anyway, i have a female friends laptop here, and her Recovery discs were blank cuz she didnt burn them yet ( Girls and Computers dont see eye to eye) so i blew out windows and tried to recover, but she has no discs and the comp froze every time i tried to use the HDD Partition, so i blew out windows and used another disc of Win XP Home and using her key on the bottom of laptop it will not work, well if inally snagged a copy of XP Home that installs with her key... but now there are 4 drivers i cant get to install.
the following will not work
1.) Wireless internet
2.) Ethernet controller
3.) Networking Controller
4.) ****** - cant remember rihgt now.
i have tried to use the drivers on gateway's site but i get either " not found " or "this device cannot start"
any ideas or other places to check for gateway drivers??????
