I have an Alpha Pal 8045 that came with the stock fan ( from excaliberpc.com ) I love the heatsink and the fan is alright, but i want a better fan on the heatsink. Here is where you guys come in...I want:
A. Where i can buy it online
B. It has to be more powerful than i have now. The one now run at 4000 rpm ( for the one i have now check out the Pal 8045 package at Excaliberpc.com )
C. It cant be insanely loud. I hate really loud sh*t. I need some more cooling from this bad boy

Please help, i need some more mhz. Thanks all.

Fastest 80mm fan you can get is the Vantec Tornado.... it's not insanely loud if you run it at 7V though :D. If you want good cooling and silence, about the best you can do is something with a blower type fan... like this (http://www.overclockers.com/tips619/). Unfortunately, I can't tell you where to get one :(.

FYI ... the Vantec Tornado is the exact same thing as the
Sunon fan. Save yourself some ca$h as the comparable Sunon model usually sells for 30-50% less.
Same fan ... same specs ... just a different sticker and a higher price.:o

Just make sure you get the 5700rpm model though. http://www.xoxide.com/suntorfan.html
Sunon makes a lot of different fans and they
often get mixed up.

Good luck:D
