Howdy:
Just bought myself a slk-800(u) heatsink from SVC. I noticed at the Thermalright site that I need to know the size of the four holes around my CPU in order to figure out how many washers to install. Specifically (and the following is quoted from Thermalright):
"AMD socket A motherboard has two different hole sizes for screw-through-motherboard mounting – 6mm and 4.2mm in diameter. For motherboards with 4.2mm holes, only one washer, the bigger one 7mm dia., is required. For 6mm holes, an extra plastic washer, the smaller one 5.8mm dia., is required on top of the bigger one".
I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. Does anyone know what size the holes are around the CPU or does anyone know a quick way to find this out? Thanks in advance for any/all help!
