I read that they are going to put 4gb of flash memory on board for super fast paging and pre-loading of apps to help speed up notebooks with Vista. That's why I wondered when this was going to happen, and if anyone else had any more info.

The flash memory thing, called Robson technology, is going to be featured in the Calistoga chipset, which is late Q1 to mid Q2 of next year from current estimates.

I popped the Vista RC2 DVD into my laptop today, and it said I could run it just fine.

Though, scrolling down a bit, it said I couldn't run Aero (mobility radeon 9000IGP), and recommended I "upgrade" it. And of course it said I would have significant problems with about 20 drivers I have installed.
