I figured with all this hard work everyone is doing to try and add machines to the team we need a place to blow off steam so to speak.
So here we have it, the Official XS WCG Harassment thread!
Chasing down a buddy on the team and want to yank his chain, here's the place to do it!
See someone thats slowed down and want to motivate him a little, here's the place!

I was looking at that number and I agree. I think it's a combination of a number of factors: HT being one of them. The DX boxes are doing 4 WU at a time on 2 cpu's but being counted in time as 4. Add to that some of my machines are lesser than your's and that may be why I show 3 times the timeframe as you do.
Didn't get the DX700 up yesterday as I need to grab a drive for it so just 6 boxes working on that day but have a drive being dropped off today.
I'm coming, so get out that tire track remover,:D

WOOHOO I am there tinking along till I finally get my DC Opty going.
Can see if I can get to 2.8/2.9Ghz and get a few numbers going.
My gf's parents just got a new family room computer so as soon as I can get my grubby fingers on it, it will be crunching.
Still trying to sweat talk my gf into letting me use her laptop to crunch as well. She has a P4 @2.8ghz.
She complains about the cooling fan going full blast.

I am getting DC Vault Credits.
Ignore me if you will , ask me to return Diablo if you want (and if you do I will return it ASAP)
Lets face it the cows are in front of us in the Vault and the sight of a cows ass is not a pretty sight. If you want to keep a cow's ass in front of your face, it is your call, I am trying my best to avoid it.
I will join the WCG bandwagon when I milk enough credits from the projects I can run and know how to run. BTW 2/3 of the last 160+ credits we got in the Vault came from my working at SETI and Community TSC.
Want me out of SETI: help me get the close to 6000 points that are there to be had without too much effort, help me in the other math , physics and even biology projects where easy credits can be had (BTW SIMAP credits are available and that project is basically shutting down soon) but one way you will not get me out of SETI is by doing what it was done here. or worst by some annonymous ( not traceable ) emails.
Lets say I am not a Happy camper today.

i was just looking at the stats and yesterday everyone execpt for ddtung did about 950 000 points (ddtung did 350 000 and i read someware that he did close to 500 000 on sunday) i think we need to get on some of these people that have some what staled and send them an emial saying WTF were are you?:D :D j/k or give them a bit of a push to get them going agian. like afireinside (has your fire gone out?) the resivior dogs (haven't seen you move up the page much) philosophy (what happed to teh power) if i am wrong about this please correct me! also the people who are on the team but haven't turned a point should mabye get an email.
i also think that after the 20th we should have a week run were our goal is to get 1 700 000 points on one of those days! (about 400 000 more than normal) not a big day but big week! to get every fired up and running fast as possible. easynews is far away and we need to move fast to catch them!!!

Unless your going phase change, consider a 6600 for about 320. It will clock almost as high for a third the cost, so you can get it much sooner and get it crunching.

Perhaps because I only added some smart arse comments in the heat of things. Carl being Carl gave all and I think he paid the price at times. :)

My old friend, Carl, will pass me at some point ( maybe ). Shintai, yeah, there is no doubt on that.
But as to the rest of my teammates, I ain't going down without a fight. Mark them words.
The farm was at close to 60% of norm due to work in December, but it is starting to get back in shape.
But I do like a challenge... And yeah, well Bob and WF could be a handful. And then there is Rob...

He has a pair of Harpertown X5460's running at 3700 and the entire system draw at full load is 320w.

Plus, I just talked a friend of mine to run WCG with his Phenom 9600. Just at stock though. Curious to see how it does. Hopefully, now I should be close to 100k a day.
