View Full Version : Making Dual WC Loop. Just a couple of questions.

One loop will consist of: Laing D5 > Swiftech MCR220 Rad > Storm Rev. 2 CPU > bay res.

The other one: AquaXtreme 50Z > NB Block > 2x120 Heatercore > Maze4 GPU (this one will have a T-line).

Question 1. Which NB block performs better? Swiftech MCW30 or DD Maze4?

Question 2. Since the CPU loop won't have much restriction now, to what setting (1 - 5) should I set my Laing D5 for optimal "heat dump/flow" ratio. Meaning, which setting is recommended to achieve lowest temps (if there's any difference).

Thanks. :D

I'd go with teh Swiftech, because it's not Acrylic topped. As for the pump speed, I'd max it but thats just me.

pump speed, drop it to 4, or even 3.5. as big a drop in heat dump as you are gonna get with very little loss in storm-block-cooling potential.

chipset block? meh just get teh swiftie for guranteed least lack of presssure drop. plus it will look nice next to the storm *shrug

Thanks for the advice guys, I went with the Swifty block. I'll setup the dual loop after I receive my new mobo. I'll post some pics. :D
