I cant seem to find any good comparisons between the two. Anybody have first-hand expiriance with both? Thanks.

i believe the SK7 is designed to use an 80mm fan. they would probably preform about the same, although a while back some sites were getting results that rivaled the SLK800.

Yep, this makes sense. Due to the construction of the SLK series of heatsinks, as well as the SK-7, they really will start to exhibit far greater performance when using a higher CFM fan. If you are using anything around ~30-35CFM you won't notice any difference from the AX-7 to any SLK heatsink. However, if you are gonna throw a Tornado on top of the SLK and AX you will see the SLK is 3-4C better, if not more. There is a review on the SLK-800, AX-7, and Zalman cooler somewhere that shows this phenomena. I don't have the link off hand, but IIRC I went to www.svc.com and checked the AX-7 where there was a review on the heatsink with the others I mentioned. From what I've read and seen, most of the time the SK-7 is only 1 or 2C behind the SLK-800. Not too sure about the SLK-700, but they are very similar. :)
