Well, I was looking around my lab and saw a lot of spare parts ...taking dust, so I finally decided to bulid a new rig to swap my old 24\7 fx55 aircooled rig...:

I choosed MEROM 7400 and x7950 as protagonist for this project

Simply amazing job, that is one hell of a mod. Just one thing though, why the 90degree barbs everywhere?

well..at the moment I haven't decided the tube's positioning, I'm working on wiring and sthealting...Afther that I'll start tubing, the 90° that you see on the pictures were just for test, the ones on the back if not important because is for a simple liquid discharge (to clean the circuit ..).

BTW the goal for this project is to have a clean design, so for me is more important the sthealting, and clean view. I konw that use 90° barb is not really good for the performance, but prolly I'll need to use some to finisch the projet... I'm not sure...but we'll see at the end ;)

Looks fantastic especially the paint job.

Very very strange pump mounting....... It would be cool if you could get the pump outlet straight into the blocks inlet.

If not I would be tempted to mount the pump elsewhere to make the tubing runs easyer. Ontop or the rad is the obvious position IMO.

I agree that bend/90 degrees looks restrictive...placing the pump on top of the radiator is a great idea, if you can keep tubing bends to a min.

Very interested in seeing how well the merom overclocks - Considering it costs the same as a e6600 but has a 13x multi - wondering how the merom/conroe binning process works - are meroms undervolted low speed conroes that don't clock as high, or are conroes less efficient meroms?

Very interested in your results.

Nice work there. What are those multi-bladed 80 or 92s at the front?

... too bad about the radiator =/

Where'd you get that blocks for the 7950GX2?

Wow is nice to see same interest to my simple work...

About the solution to place the pump over the radiator i thought on that, but there is no room...

I know that 90° barbs are not so good for the flow, but as i said before my 1st necessity in this project is to get a clean rig with all the component integrated inside the case . I know that with a more rational allocation of the tubes and water compononets ( outside the case) i could get better flow and performance, but I'm happy with the result now.
If anybody have suggestion for a better disposition of the water circuit, I 'll appreciate to know...

About merom performance, I'll try to get it stable @ 3100 - 3200 daily.
merom have less OC potentiall than Conroe becouse of FSB wall, and, IMHO, not so good developing of the chipset for merom platform.
I decided to use it just because..I LIKE it, yes i like that AOPEN board, and i like to have something different than the usual CONROE rig that anybody is gettin..( BTW I have several CONROE chip and MOBO for memoryextreme team beching session... :)) , so there are no other reason ;)

About the 7950 WB I talked about them here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=113220)

The fan used in the front side are 80nnx15mm 17db from HIPERGROUP (http://www.hipergroup.com/English/products/flow.html)

wait a second, is that the rad in the bottom front of the case? And are those several 180 degree bends in it? Ouch isn't that going to do some real damage to the flow?
