hi, i seem to have a problem running my memory higher than 850mhz DDR with my DS3. i have G.Skill F2-6400CL4D-2GBPK i don't know how well this memory overclocks, but i thought i should be able to take it to DDR-1000 at the very least. currently in bios i have the timings running at 4-4-4-12 and the vDimm at +.2 to acheive DDR-850, if i try to bring it up past DDR-860 the computer will not pass more than a minute of orthos, at DDR-850 it's 8 hour stable. i can run superpi 8m at DDR-900 with +.3vDimm. what do you think my problem is if the memory crashes in orthos?

Try memory multi to be 2,5 instead of 2.Mine goes 1126 MHz when mem multi is 2,5,and only 926 when set to 2.And make sure you use the F6 BIOS.

the whole point is that i want to raise my cpu speed 1:1 with my memory, i don't want to run it on a divider.

that was @ 950 1:1 5-5-5-15, +.3vDimm on DS3

hopefully i can get my hands on some HZ's and take this 6300 to the moon.

thanks, i want to hit DDR 1000 with this set at 5-5-5-15, but i don't think the memory will do it.
