Those are some amazing screenshots on the side of GT but the Assassins creed looks like its a pc game port :|. Also Turok looks bad who wants to fight dinos? I know I don't. but GT with Ferraris thats cool. No game I have played has had Ferraris.

Man Gran Turismo looks nice! Devil May Cry isnt that nice. I am realy waiting to see what kind of water physics PS3 can pull off. I recon when DX10 comes out we will look back at these pictures and laugh but meh its good for now.

Most shots are in-game shots. Many developers are now moving to HUD-less play.

Also, Turok isn't about hunting Dinosaurs. They live in the persistent world you play in. Sure they are a real danger but they aren't what you are after. They can attack anything they see, including your enemies. Should be downright scary to play in HD on a nice screen with a sound system.

GT HD looks spectacular, but I can assure you those are not "in game"... screenshots of the GT series are famous for being photoshopped.

And WOW, I hope there is a complete line of Ferraris... if so I will be first in line to buy that. I am a huge GT fan... (All Golds in GT3, GT4, and Tourist Trophy) :D

You need to see it moving before you really know if its good or not.

If those are what it looks like on the HDTV then Its looking very promising.

I just hope I can get a mouse for the first person games, joypads suck for FPS, imo.

I know at least that the Assasin's Creed screenies are In-game, as shown in THIS In-game demo at the X06 convention (on Xbox360, but from what I can see, the GFX will be the same):

The Wii is still going to get ass. There many games that you won't be able to get on any other console. Nintendo isn't all about the fame and glory. They are about the roots of gaming. Nintendo is never going to go anywhere. Of course they won't sell the most consoles and games but they are the most fun to play...

Come one even Snake is going to be in Smash Brothers this year around.

Exactly!

There isn't even a huge difference between 720p and 1080i. Which most people don't have a 1080p TV yet. The majority including myself has a TV that can handle 1080i and that is it.

We will see how everything comes out when the system is launched. I still think they are trying to push Blu-Ray way too much upon the public and Sony is taking a huge cut on these System to push them in every household.

2407 has composite input so should work, the 2007 and 3007 do not so will not work with the 360.

mmmkay, that looks like any typical racing game there graphics-wise, heck NFS underground 2 on my PC looks at least as good as that. The screenies above looked much more impressive, but I wonder now after seeing that if maybe they were photoshopped like someone suggested.

In the end though it doesn't really matter much. Gameplay > graphics, you can have the most graphical, most realistic looking game ever but if the gameplay sucks then it is worthless IMO. We'll have to see.

Besides, I can't afford a console anyway :p:

It's getting to the point to where you don't need a HUB to tell if your player is dying or something.

Fight Night 3 didn't have a HUD. Wasn't needed. You could look at your players face and tell though.

Some are, some aren't. I would probably say about half and half.

Devil May Cry, not sure but I don't think those 2 are.
Turok, doesn't look like it, but I have seen real ones and they are very impressive.
GT HD, unsure.
Heavenly Sword, yes.
Stranglehold, yes.
MGS 4, unsure.
Rainbow 6: Vegas, yes.
Carbon, probably not.

There are plenty more "real" screenshots if you follow the links though. Don't forget that these games are a ways off still and many of them won't be out until next year.

I think i changed my mind and now I won't spend 2500$ for a new pc rig.I'm switching to consoles now.For the price of the high end graphic card I'll get the complete gaming beast for the next 5 years:)

If you think about it, if you have a nice screen the PS3 will be a great buy, doubling as a HD Blu-Ray player for movies AND a powerful gaming machine in one box.

How much would it cost you to buy a Blu-Ray player to go with your XBox? ;)
