Running WCG in Virtual Server

I have a question. I have BOINC installed on the server and am running 4 tasks at a time. I am capable of running multiple virtual servers. Should I install there too and keep the virtual servers up as well? I figure it will slow down my task time on the server. What you think, would it boost my production?

Instead of boosting, the opposite will be the case, because the virtual servers need too many resources, boinc could use.
