Is this project better than F@H?

Hi guys, I have been running f@h 24\7 for the past few years, and just saw this project today.

Does it have any advantages over F@H? or it is just the same kinda thing?

(Currently crunching on an E6600@3420mhz 24\7)

Im debating wether to switch to this project or not...hmm:stick:

IMO I would switch! WCG helps find cures for cancer, aids and protein structures.

Its debatable if its worth it but both projects are very good projects, as far as I know the human proteone folding project for wcg is very similar to F@H but there are also cancer and aids specific projects too. The reason I specifically run WCG over F@H is that F@H has annoyingly long wu's compared to the 4hour WCG aids wu's :D

Compare the amount of peer reviewed research papers produced by WCG compared to Folding @ Home. It's pretty obvious that one is generating lots and lots of points and the other is generating lots and lots of SCIENCE.

i crunch wcg because of the cancer and aids science!!!!!!! i only cruch medical apps that go with cancer because i have a personal conection. also the cure or slow down of aids would be huge!!!!!! it would mean millions saved!!!!!! run which ever one you want but i would be nice of you to run WCG:D :D

Yes, of course, either is good.

WCG does aids and cancer research, will soon be doing a phase-2 protein folding project and is actively pursuing other worthwhile medical-science projects.

Now I'm not recruiting, but you came to our party and asked, so I would be unable to live with myself if I didn't tell you that we are on Xtreme Mission to become the #1 WCG crunching team in the Universe. We face a daunting challenge as the #1 team has 4079 members to our 122, but in a little over a month we have climbed from the back to #46 all-time and to #2 in daily production. Like the Spartans at Thermopylae, we face seemingly unsurmountable odds, except unlike them, we will win! :woot:
