So I got my rad + pump for new WC setup. I'm running a few of these different setups to see what kind of temps I get. I'm getting bad kinking because I didn't really measure out the tubing that I would need (knew I was going to dismantle it so I didn't really care).

Gonna leave it up for about an 2 hours and see what kinda temps i get from the water

Ambient = 73f

I got the rad attached in front of my ac vent.

I'm still not sure what CPU block i'm going to go with (most likely TDX universal)

or maybe mp-05 LE universal

I can't find a storm anywhere. Money is somewhat an an issue ($50 vs 75). But I think i'm going with the tdx, it's probaly going to cause it to be 1-2 degrees less, and is $25 cheaper (a 50% increase from $50 if I went with the mp-05 LE)

My first time with a T-Line also. Reservoir IS 10x easier to fill @.@ I'm thinking of picking up DD's Cylinder res and just mount it up top.

Next setup I have is mounting the rad on the side of my case. It can take 120mm fans and I have a shroud for my PA160 so I can use that to mount it.

Some pics of my somewhat ghetto setup.

Did this a couple nights back but the forums were down. I got the best temps from when the rad was in front of the AC vent.

2 hours in front of the ac vent

Ambient - 73f
Water - 68F (20c)

yeah it is an 801, I love the use of the vent! Though your air would have to be running 24/7, or at least when your system is running to work effectively.

The air is running close to 24/7. I live in alabama and it runs a lot to keep the house at 73f. It's actually a T01. PSU is gonna up top so all the air it vents is gonna go above everything.

Hate to see the electric bill :-P

When I had my Athlon system, I would lie my cheiftec on its side and have the floor vent blow right into the case, worked well :D
