I want to OC my PC a little and im a total noob so can anyone help me out? I just want to get up to 3.0 ghz maybe. Rig is in sig. What should I do to safely reach higher speeds?

The Xtreme Overclocking section is for posting overclocking results, usually overclocking results that are exceptionally good and require extreme skill and cooling.
Your post is best suited in the Intel Info and Support section i think
