If I order a Zalman fan bracket...

http://www.quietpc.ca/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=174&CATID=24

And put a 120mm fan on it...

I should be able to remove the 80mm fan I have on my slk800 and encounter no trouble?

Im considered with having the 120mm fan suspended a couple inches above the heatsink and worry it wont be able to cool it down as much.

Do you think it would negative to have both the 80mm one as well as the 120mm???

i would run without a fan just on top of the heatsink.. But the 120mm right above and 80mm on 7v, should do the job

what CPU you running? that should be fine though, I've actually got a Zalman 6500cu with the same setup on my 2.5GHz P4, it works great, so I have no doubt it'll work great for you.

ullyeus, i don't think you'd want to keep the 80mm fan on there if you were to use the 120mm fan. it would most likely create lots of extra noise and only improve airflow a little.

before you go out and buy the fan adapter, try 7v-ing your fan and see if that gets you the results you want.

anyway, with a just 120mm fan blowing air onto the heatsink, you should be fine.

Its a 2100+ normally running at or about 2700+ with aspirations of hitting 2.4ghz
