Im not shure if i should use the thread seal tape "teflon?" or this medium strength permatex threadlocker stuff

and also i hit my rad with a screwdriver and i want to pressure test it somehow... i did a pressure test by capping one end and blowing air into the otherside it seemed sealed,,maybe im just paranoid but if there is a good way to leak test besides that...

Use the PTFE tape for threads. To pressure test the rad, the only real way is to connect it to the pump in a small loop. That small package (with velcro) is the Micro Res fixtures and fittings :).

i wouldn't recommend that thread locker stuff yet.

with regards to taflon being used, what kind barb fittings will you be using? cause fitting with O-Rings don't really need em...

if you're gonna use taflon, i would suggest leaving the last thread part bare (first part inserted in block)...

As stated if your fittings have o-rings then don't use the teflon tape. Also when it comes to tightening the barbs down tighten them hand tight and then another 1/4 - 1/2 turn. Too tight and they WILL leak because you deform the o-ring.
