So I format and install Windows XP from Windows 2000. Now I installed boinc, but whevnever i got to attach it keeps saying my username and pass is wrong, even though its right. Any ideas?

are you using the correct url to connect to the project?
you should get a different error though if you're using the wrong one.
but make sure anyway. i tried http://www.worldcommunitygrid.com/ one time and it gave me an error.

it just gives a "Check the username/password and try again". I have even copied and pasted my login and password to the main WCG site, wich works into BOINC and still no go

Whenever I typed in the address and had the .org part as .com, it would go through to the username and PW part, and then tell that one of them was wrong, instead of telling me that the project address was wrong.

I am bit confused here. When you attach to a project, does BOINC require you to enter username/password or is it the email/authorisation password?
