Have an Asus P5W DH with raid on the Ez-Raid ports at the moment.

will the setup below work?

Intel ICH7R
Sata 1 - WD Raptor 150 (as single drive)
Sata 3 & 4 - RAID 0 (Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB)

Asus EZ-Raid
EZ_RAID1 EZ_RAID2 - Raid 0 (Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SataII 250GB)

PS. Haven't bought the Seagate's at the moment.

regards

Ya that should work fine ... Just remeber to set the jumpers for the EZ-raid from RAID 1 to RAID 0

RAID 0 is nice for increasing data transfer rates for large files, but a 2-drive RAID 0 doubles your chance for losing all the data when either drive fails.

If you're planning to have five drives total, you might like to have two of them in a RAID 1 where you can put the data you really don't want to lose.

Just my $0.02.
