Well just got my p5b-deluxe, e6600, 2g HZ parts today, threw it all together hit the power switch and nothing. No beep codes, no fans spin up.....nothing. Tried all the usual. Clear cmos, pulled mobo out of the case, unplugged everything cept ram and cpu and power supply still nothing. Checked all jumpers I know about as well. Wow I'm depressed. Any thoughts appreciated. Thinkin bout going up to fry's getting another board just to confirm mine is DOA.

Double check to make sure the power switch is connected to mb properly, its easy to get it wrong.

That's odd...if the fans arent spinning up, it may well be your psu.

Power supply is OCZ600w works fine. Tried the switch, wish it were that simple. Pretty sure its DOA. There goes the fun from my weekend. lol. Looks like fry's is out of stock as well. Wonder if there is any truth to asus recall someone mentioned in dfi bios thread.
