use 1\2 barbs and 7\16 tubing. with alphacool or similar top you can use 1\2 barbs on the mcp350 too, most important is that you get top inlet with the alphacool top.

1/2" tubes should see a better flow, and it would perform better (I gained 2C moving from 3/8" to 1/2" but that was because I had a pants pump (Hydor L30 II). What you would most gain from, however is putting an aftermarket top on the MCP350 e.g. the Alphacool Pro plexitop....

tubing is
1/2 ID with 3/4 OD 1/8 wall thickness
7/16 ID with 5/8 OD 3/32 wall thickness

like they said it better flow with bigger tubing,
1. apogee blocks usually come with 1/2 and 3/8 barbs
2. for the mcp350 if you buy the alphacool plexitop, you have to specify barb size
3. for the mcr220, you're gonna have to buy some barbs 3/8NPT threading size 1/2barb if you're gonna move to 7/16 or 1/2 tubing...

i can replace only to 1\2 tubing ( because that is the only barb i have to my rad except 3\8").

i dont have where to buy the plexitop, but i dont think its hard to find 3\8" to 1\2" adaptor (i know it will create some "bottleneck")...

No need to buy adapters - all your parts are customisable with the appropriate barb (which costs about $2 each or something silly no doubt). Replace all barbs with the necessary one and don't bother with 1/2" -3/8" adapters. The block should have them supplied and I'd be surprised if the rad wasn't also. The plexitop can be bought for about $25 from jab-tech and many other places.

i have 1\2" barbs to my rad and block.
my only problem is with the pump, delivery from usa cost me another 25-30$...

what about this product?

i can buy that in my country.

the question is if after all, i'll get some performance or it will be the same as the 3\8" tubes?

thanks again.

Which country... it helps...

You can use those but the pump really benefits from a top change, much more so that tubing change - it might not be worth it for tubing only.

Hmm, so a European supplier... what about alphacool themselves at http://www.alphacool.de/xt/index.php?language=en or try radiical in Australia (his shipping is pretty flat rate).
