Ok let me explain what the sloppy topic title means...

I have a Gigabyte DS4 as of tomorrow and downloaded the new Intel CHR8 drivers. Now I "think" I need to feed the WinXP setup the driver for SATA upon starting using F6.

Now if I dont need to do this, please say so now. I'm not running SATA raid by the way, just regular SATA.

Now if I do need to supply XP setup the drivers before installing, the drivers I downloaded are packed with a .exe file and it wants to create a floppydisk. What the hell? What is a floppydisk? Is that in my machine? No it is absolutely not.

Now how do I do that?
