ok guys I want requests, I want ideas as to what you want to see in the forums here... there are a few threads floating already but this is the official thread for it - if they can be installed I will and then remove your request if it can't I will reply as to why.
Lets do this guys - through them at me! Hacks will begin again in about one week so you have a nice head start on me.

Colors stay - not my call but I support it and request they stay
they can be adjusted by turning the brightness on your monitor down.... later to come will be a custom setting which I will entitle IFMU for people to select - every color even fonts, links, background - everything will be at the hex code number of #000000.

Well I have an actual request :P I was wondering if you could change the name of the Vmod forums to like XXX Xtreme Vmods and Other Mods, or perhaps make a forum called "Xtreme Hardware Mods" for questions and mods that are not necessarily vmods, but they are still mods. Know what I mean? I was just thinking of that when I wanted to post about a temperature probe mod, but wasn't sure where to post it. THANK YOU MISTERS.

yeah, seems like not a bad idea to me.
there is lots of other things that involve soldering and good knowledge of electonics other than Vmods.
"Xtreme Hardware Mods" sounds OK.
besides, we got "mobo Vmods" and "GFX Vmods" already, and is there anything other than those two that can be Vmodded?
so that leaves "Vmods" section pretty useless, unless it involves other hardware mods too.

Woops I didn't notice the replies. Yeah what dmitriyaz had said. Like, temperature probe mods, power supply mods, physical modifications of the hardware but not necessarily voltage. Like PLL modules, rheostats, fanbuses, anything really. I think it would be a cool idea ;)

I have a request. Something that really anoys the hell out of me about this forum, and a few others, is that replying does not automatically subscribe you to a thread. IMHO, this should always be the case. Hardforum does it.
Anyway, if this would be possible to implement, that would be excellent.

i like how they did it on icrontic,
you can uncheck the email notification, and its set checked by default.

it should be a feature you turn on within usercp and this will not be a defualt as in the past more poeple voiced against it than for it.
but i will keep this option open for more replys before I do anything.

Okay.... if it can be turned on, that's awesome. But could you possibly tell me which option it is? I've looked, and I can't find anything that seems to apply....

i meant the email notification when using the quick reply box.
i used the box at first, but i never got emails, even though that option in the user CP is set to YES.
dmitriyaz, that is correct. The quick reply box is for that, just a quick reply. It doesnt auto set you to receive emails in the thread. You will have to subscribe manually to it if your wanting.

If you have the e-mail notification turned on, that does subscribe you to the thread and should recieve the emails.
If you use the quick reply box, it does not subscribe you to the thread. You have to specify before, or after the reply by hitting the subscribe to this thread at the very bottom of the page.
Note~ If you type in what you want and then hit Subscribe to this Thread ~ your typing will be deleted. You will need to post then subscribe.

well, even if its a "quick" reply,
i want to see how people responded to it,
and in any case, i dont see how a tiny checkbox on the side of the box would hurt.

No way! Less cluttered main page = good. I still think that there's too many things on it, personally, but it's a lot nicer than it was before. Much more readable.

We are looking into different member levels. Still tryin to come up with the differences between each and blah blah.
As for being an Xtreme Member, these guys have done much to help out the site, have helped us when/where needed and have kept up a good name and standing within the XS community.
Think we got the "rules" for becoming an Xtreme Member in here somewhere...
